This spectacular antique Victorian 18ct Gold Diamond Insect brooch is Circa 1900.

Bug or Insect jewellery is highly collectable and was once a symbol of good luck to the wearer during the Victorian Era.

The lovely insect is set with violet Amethyst eyes with a line of sparkling Diamonds running down the back which are 0.08ct each.

Diamonds sparkle continuously and beautifully captivating the allure of natures beauty. They are the hardest mineral on Earth and this combined with its exceptional lustre and brilliant fire has made it the most highly prized of all gems.

There are 0.48ct of Diamonds in total which are superb cut, colour and clarity - WS1-H colour.

The brooch is beautifully engraved and fitted with a secure pin and safety catch.

All set in 18ct Yellow Gold and complete with makers mark on the reverse.
